PROJECT
INTRODUCTION
YP woke up one morning and decided to develop a Sitcom, our own situation
comedy!!. We started recalling how many of them we have consumed and
listed those which we liked the most…it wasn’t that difficult.
Maybe even some of you have been lucky enough to enjoy “Get a
Life”, or “Let the blood run free”, both of them British
productions, full of acid humour, screened during the nineties in Spain
translated as “buscate la vida” and “deja la sangre
correr”. They owe a great deal to Monty Pythons style. If you
feel like knowing more about them just do like Garcia (the Hacker) Andujar
and type them into Google´s encyclopaedia. In any case, we would
like to advise you that they are completely opposed to the common mellow
humour you can usually see on your tv screen. Of course, we cannot forget
the other reference work which has grown up alongside us, The Simpsons,
show to which we owe a great degree of angst and humour. From here we
got in touch with two of the central players in the making of Producta1_television´s
clips, Jonathan Millan, who directed PTV and Miquel Noguera, its media
face, with them we started defining the structure, script and cast the
characters. As we had worked with them previously, we can anticipate
you that the amount of black and absurd humour will be big. We have
titled it: “bastante tencgo conmigo mismo”, and will be
based on 6 characters which are bred in the idea of the loser. We think
that after evidencing all the social archetypes and behaviour patrons
that sitcoms usually use, it can be loads of fun to dig into and twist
around the typical narratives and storytelling behind these sitcoms.
We think it’s cool to speak to an audience who is used to consume
loads of TV and that will recognize the typical mechanism that conform
its identity. This perfect spectator allows us to create a narrative
full of blinks, twists and disturbances of the ways in which narratives
usually evolve, filling them with our particular black humour.
We are now focusing on the pilot program whilst working to increase
the budget for the whole of the chapters. At the moment, we cannot disclose
more about it. We will update you with info in this same site, if you
feel like knowing more just contact us, using

will smile when I seeing messages with such a theme written on them….
